Bolton Fire Boat 1 "Miss Elsa" Bolton Fire Department, Bolton Landing, NY.
2000 Winninghoff Response FR-9.2 Boat. It is 30 feet in length with a 10 foot beam. It is powered by counter rotating Evinrude 225 hp fuel injected outboards. The pump system is a Hale 1500 gpm system driven by a V8 engine. Features include a combination GPS/Chart plotter, radar, Low Band, VHF and cellular communication capability, a hard top pilot house with a diesel heating system, a remote control 1500 gpm deck gun, large diameter discharges front and rear, and 3 preconnects. The boat is equipped with basic firefighting hand tools, forest fire fighting tools, forestry protective jumpsuits, SCBA and spare cylinders, gumby suits, water rescue rope, snorkeling equipment, BLS equipped for ems including backboards and a defib., and a stokes basket. Given the identifier of "Fireboat 36" by Warren County, but named the "Miss Elsa" due to the generous contributions toward our purchase of this boat.
